Massachusetts taxi licensing is unusually consolidated. Logan International (BOS) operates a central taxi pool with Massport-defined queue order. The MBTA contracts THE RIDE paratransit service, often delivered by the same operators dispatching street hails. Dispatch software here has to integrate cleanly with Logan's pool, MBTA paratransit pre-bookings, and the affiliate-heavy Greater Boston dispatch geography.
